The above mentions where in N.Z I was born and raised, it how ever doesn't say where I learnt my ability to design traditionally styled Maori tattoos or Ta Moko, I had to travel 6hrs south of my home region to study under a master carver of all mediums to learn and develop as a young "artist" in all facets of Te Ao Maori or the realm of Maoridom.
An honor to work and be taught by one of the best Rangatira "tutor" in N.Z was one of the most testing and rewarding experiences in my artistic career to date.
Other influences in my life are definitely my family and the environment, love anything to do with the ocean as it has great effect on my designing.

All work is custom according to whakapapa or ones own story whether it be family oriented or interests of the individual.
