Having spent the last 5 years travelling up and down the East Coast of Australia, Kara Alexis is happy to call Sydney home once more.

 

Kara Alexis draws her inspiration from her artistically talented friends,  random connections with strangers and the incomplete sketches of Leonardo da Vinci. She specialises in Black and Grey Realism, sometimes adding colour washes to create her own unique style. Kara also loves to play around with the traditional style and reconstructing it as her own.

 

Tattooing is her life and is more than happy to spend time with her clients getting to the bottom of what kind of tattoo they are after. Always thinking outside the box Kara Alexis loves to give her clients an original piece of art that they will cherish and connect with for the rest of their lives.

 

In her spare time Kara Alexis is the Owner and Curator of the Rita Mavis Art Gallery. The gallery is a Pop Up Gallery operating all over Sydney. It is named after her Nanna – Rita Mavis Stonys, who was also an artist and whom Kara Alexis draws inspiration from not just for her art but life also.
